if we win this i feel we will definitley stay up, howay the lads!

If we win it, we'll have momentum that's for sure. We need it bad, so bad it hurts

true, big away win against a team doing (kinda) well at the moment, this game is fucking huge

They are 5th in the forum guide, we are 20th :icon_lol:

Is this something you get given when you're made an admin? :nufc:

its not his fault hes on here 24 hours a day.

I expect the spurs support to be subdued because of the early sunday kick off, this could play into the toon hands.

At least wait and see how you do before making excuses.

Ironic in a thread full of excuses.

Excuses for being shit at football though, not for having shit fans. :icon_lol:

been watching Sunday Supplement, as usual, and the cast this morning all seemed to have great sympathy and support for our predicament, as John Richardson and Neil Custis would naturally do. Custis tottered on the brink of bickering with Oliver Holt on issues concerning South Korea and Stockport County, but generally supported them in their views on Newcastle and what has happened since MIke Ashley took over.

They were saying that we need to win our 3 home games. While this is true, and remember that having won only 4 home games all season and 6 in total all season, this looks a tall order. Winning these 3 games would undoubtedly keep us up, but psychologically on a game by game basis, we can't fall too far behind or we just won't win them.

We could lose today, but whatever happens its absolutely critical we win next monday night or the game will be up and we wouldn't recover.

If we draw today and win next monday, we could get above either Hull or Blackburn on goal difference, and that could be the momentum needed to take into the last few games.

Would've had Guthrie ahead of Nolan and of course Enrique ahead of R. Taylor (Beye/S. Taylor/Bassong/Enrique) but apart from that, that's one of our stronger starting XIs all season.

Let's hope he puts on Martins when their defence is starting to flag. Dawson should have a right old time with him :nufc:

EDIT: 2-1 to them by the way.

Crikey, I'm slow today, I've only just realised that if we did get three points it'd bump us up to 16th! I haven't got us down for a win but since Alan came in I can't help but feel excited going in to every match, there's an air we could get something... fingers crossed.

12 pages and the match hasn't even started yet! :nufc:

Need a win today - for the confidence if nothing else - far too many people are hanging their hopes on the 3 home games. I doubt we'll win them all...

no, this is the biggest game of the season, we cannot look to the others before this game is over, we need every player to sweat blood for this
