Christmas Tree 4725
How was it CT? Absolutely gutted to come home. Bit of rain on the Friday night but it didnt spoil the lakeside trek to a lovely pub a mile away. Wifey got caught short on the way home and ran off the lakeside path, straight into a bog Sanl straight up to her knees and as she tried to pull a leg out, ended up on here back. Queue lots of screaming and a mile trudge back to the shower blocks looking like the swamp monster. She still isnt seeing the funny side. The campsite was first class and you could literally camp 4 feet away from Ullswater edge if you wanted. Lovely play park on site for the kids and as its also a working farm, lots going on. Also a Burger van on site that opens for full english on a morning and burgers on a night for those not wanting to cook. Pubs in Pooley bridge were very nice and the lakeside walk, minus the bog, is lovely and full of rope swings over the lake. We pitched on an electric site to allow a heater in the tent for the baby (wasnt needed) and also to allow full use of the George Foreman for breakfast sausages and evening burgers. A lovely stream ran behind us which was excellent for keeping our cans nice and cool on the end of ropes. Cant recommend this site enough and now looking for somewhere equally as nice for the 29th July. Fair to say we are hooked.

Monkeys Fist 42378
Kevin confusing "camp" with " gay". Hardly surprising since he's "uit de kast" Dutch experience.
