Fuck off you mackem cunts, no one will notice you when you're gone, unlike us if we go.

Why do you say that?

Having been to every away game so far this season I can honestly say that the atmosphere at the SOL pisses all over SJP - there is no comparison.

Maybe the only reason you think that is because you think NUFC are a 'big club'............?

I hope you both stay up and that boro wba & hull go down.

Absolutely. Forget about what a big club is. The fact is Newcastle not being in the Premiership will be a notable event, there are 15 other clubs who the league could easily miss aside from us. We have been fourth or third for away games accumulative attendance every year for the last 15 seasons, partly because of our huge away support, and partly because we're a big attraction. I don't know how but last season the accumulative home attendance average at our away games was greater than Arsenal, normally we're 4th, but it says it all. I'll tell you now I couldn't have less respect for Blackburn, championship club at best, any club that takes less than 1,000 away from home don't deserve to be in this league. I go to Blackburn, it's a shit place, good away pub mind, but I just think fucking hell this is a Premiership town. As for Sunderland having a better atmosphere, we've had some great atmospheres here this season, the mackems have had one decent one according to their own fans, and that was against us.

A lot of our fans, wrongly in my opinion, can't themselves up for the wank clubs like yourself, no banter with the fans, apathy and many expect them to roll over, again wrongly, but they are all reasons the atmosphere against sides like yours often aren't what they should be. From a media prospective we will leave a huge whole, this season, and every season you would care to name, we feature more on live TV than any club outside the top 4. Last season of our 38 games 21 were on live TV, one more than Chelsea, because we count, because these companies can pull in huge audiences. Who do you think Fulham are going to miss? Newcastle bringing 6,000 or Blackburn bringing 250?

We'll be missed, but back to my point, I always laugh when fans of non-entity clubs like Bolton, Blackburn question the size or abuse our right to expect to be better than these shit clubs, and we are fully vindicated in feeling disgusted when we are behind clubs like this.

I could name another 12 to be fair, but Blackburn in particular, they do well to get 15-19000 home fans in from an immediate catchment area of 200,000, but again the club are the biggest overachievers in English football in my view, Preston should consider themselves at least equals.

Like putting salt on an open wound eh Stevie?

Why the obsession with lowly Blackburn? Jealousy?

One thing that pisses me off about 'fans' like you - you would never let the facts get in the way of your argument.

You dont count any more Stevie, like you didnt count when you were last in the second tier of English football.

Deal with it.

No obsession with Blackburn, see when I was 14 I went to Blackburn and it was my first proper away game outside the North East and it made me realise what we had more than any other event. In terms of town and city more than anything else. My grandma was from Tipperary, but was brought up around Accrington and Blackburn, and when I saw it I thought dear me, this is like the 1920's when my grandma must've grown up, it was like going back in time, until you saw all of the Pakistani and Indian people kicking around. Then I saw the stadium, and I tell you what I loved it 6,000 toon fans tightly packed in to a old antique terrace witha corregated roof, and as for the ground it was a carbuncle but it worked, I loved that trip to Blackburn, we lost 3-1, Speedie was made aware all 6,000 of us had shagged his wife, but the 19,000 crowd was your biggest league gate in over 10 years and it made me think, clubs like these are going for Promotion we should be pissing it. After that point and when we got Shearer I've never given Blackburn a second thought, apart from the odd decent player who we should have bought nothing, so no obsession with Blackburn I haven't even got that much to say about you compared to most, just without sounding patronising in general a backward town, with happyish simplistic people, in some ways a step back in time in attitudes and aspirations.

Obviously in table terms we're not even in the second tier of the Premiership, but as has been mentioned by many thousands throughout the land, why does it seem we're such a focus for media attention, in a way your Aston Villa's and Everton's would crave but can't have, and there's facts there to back that statement up.

* As we don't count BluePETER I take it that you have logins on most of the other Premiership sides boards?

As a happyish simple person, I'm sure BluePeter won't feel patronised by that

I really do love Stevie's rants and I worry that I agree with quite a bit of it.

On the media aspect though is it not as much because we have made so many monumental fuck up's both on an off the pitch (Hall and the fat man in a brothel, losing a 12 point lead at the top, Bowyer and Dyer (on and off the pitch), Keegan, Asheley & Wise etc), as it is becuase of any positive reasons?

I don't think anybody likes Spurs, even their fans are self loathing and obsessed with other clubs

Self loathing is a Jewish thing after all. ;)

Here he is again with the self loathing already <_<

Am I the only one who doesn't find Woody Allen's self absorption a hoot? I realise I'm probably out of step with the rest of the world.

Stevie,

I think as a city Newcastle is the best in the country, but that means nothing when it comes to your team. Blackburn is a shithole but that has no impact on BRFC. I am not sure what point you are trying to make.

You garner media attention for the wrong reasons and nearly always have - Aston Villa have had a pretty good press so far this season - not least because of the amount of English players in their squad, Everton have probably had less than they deserve but then they will always be in the shadow of Liverpool.

What 'good' media attention have NUFC had? None. Actually, thats wrong - you get constant praise for your away following and rightly so.

Being so geordiecentric stops you having a balanced discussion. Mentioning Pakistanis and Indians is just plain bizarre.

I don't see how, I was mentioning the only difference in your mill towns from when my grandma grew up there and 1992, was the amount of immigrants. I wasn't saying it for any derogatory reason, just more a flavour of what I saw when I was a kid at Ewoood Park, no doubt in the days before you knew there was a football team in the town, like most of them pre Jack Walker.

With regards to the media coverage, as Cantona once said it is better to be talked about, good or bad than not to be talked about at all, because it shows you exist. Of course he's right.

Just out of interest how many other Premiership teams boards have you been a member on for longer than 6 months.

Lastly, London is a better city than Newcastle, but then it would be being the best city in the world, but thanks for your kind comments.

The more you post, the more ignorant you appear. How on earth could you know that the people you saw were immigrants?

Oh, I see, the colour of their skin eh? Good grief.

London is the best city in the world? Where have you travelled - London & Newcastle? You must be pretty shocked at the amount of 'Pakistanis & Indians' (better still, lump 'em together as immigrants) on your visits to London.

You need to get out more Stevie - perhaps to SJP now and again

I've travelled all of over the world, London is a global city, and as such there's every nationality you can think of is there. Immigrants might be the wrong word, but that's what they are ultimately or their parents were, it's not even racist saying it. How making a comment about the cultural differences of Lancashire between 1920 and 1992 say something like "you need to get out more" I work in an office when I'm London, where there's black, asian, yank, aussie, there's even Czech and my boss is Indian so I suggest you pipe down?

it will go down to the last day between us and hull, with united already having the league in the bag, seeing this as an ideal oppurtunity to fuck us over. Hull will take a point an relegate us
