JawD 99
Boro and WBA I reckon are nailed on and I think the last spot is between us, mackems and hull. I can see us getting out of it and do think Sunderland are in trouble as well. I think we still have it hard but with more winnable games than those. Running through the predictor (again!) I get Nufc - 39 safc - 36 hull - 36 boro - 29 albion - 25 So, hull going down on GD.
Cid_MCDP 0
Still say it's Stoke, Boro, and WBA, although Sunderland is making a strong case.

bluepeter1875 0
Which three clubs do you think are down at the moment. From dispondency I am now feeling more optimistic, I genuinely think we'll get the the necessary points against Fulham, Boro and Portsmouth, will it be enough I think it could be, and if we play as well as we did against Arsenal and Man Utd, points even against Chelsea aren't impossible. My heart wants Blackburn, Portsmouth and Hull to go down, the Premiership doesn't need these small insignificant non-entity clubs, but my head says WBA, Sunderland and Hull...yes I think Boro will get out of it. The three going down are: WBA BORO NUFC Easy really - the three worst teams in the premiership. Edited April 7, 2009 by bluepeter1875

However, I will rent out a scimitar and castrate you when you grow one, that is. Also your first generalisation was on Indians as a whole. You are not very bright, are you? Renton 22687
I suppose if Boro and Sunderland both continue their miserable run of form it may be possible to stay up with less points than normal, maybe even with just another 7 or 8 points? Craig 6707
It'll be West Brom, Boro and one of either us or Sunderland. The other team in that equation are going to have quite a celebration me thinks...

Well if we reciprocate the points we garnered from the fixtures last year, in the remaining games we will have Stoke (Birmingham) 1-1 Portsmouth 1-4 Tottenham 4-1 Boro 1-1 Fulham 3-0 Liverpool 0-3 Villa 1-4 37 points, it could be enough, but I doubt it, we have to beat Boro and Portsmouth end of, or it will be end of. Guest alex
The three home games left are key. Obvious thing to say but 9 points there and we'll probably be ok no matter what we do in the other games. We've got a chance.

Papa Lazaru 0
The three home games left are key. Obvious thing to say but 9 points there and we'll probably be ok no matter what we do in the other games. We've got a chance. Before Shearer you just know we'd have slipped up in at least one of those home games, with him here we have a chance of winning all 3 which is the key as you say. Also its not beyond him to pull of a win away from home, Stoke is tough but they're not worldbeaters, Spurs can be good or shit on any given day and they have nowt to play for now and Villa could already be out of the race for CL place by then, so who knows! And as we always know wth NUFC they can be unpredictable so why not go to Stoke, who's game is seemingly suited to beating us comfortably, who are hard to beat at home and go and win. Also they finally got their very first away win in the prem this season so the way football sometimes work they'll follow that by ballsing up their god home record next match...that's my hope anyway, i'm going for us to win! brummiemag1 0
I think it all boils down to the 3 winnable home games (Pompey, Boro and Fulham) and stoke away. I just can't see us picking up points at Spurs, Liverpool or Villa We need 3 wins and a draw out of those 4 games and it will probably be enough. I think we need to beat Stoke because we will probably drop points at one of those home games.
Craig 6707
OK, just done a slightly different predictor (results are predicated by the tool itself) and it doesn't look good: Stoke (A) - 1-1 - Draw Spurs (A) - 1-2 - Loss Pompey (H) - 0-2 - Loss Liverpool (A) - 0-3 - Loss Boro (H) - 2-1 - Win Fulham (H) - 0-2 - Loss Villa (A) - 2-1 - Win That will leave us 3rd bottom on 36 points with a Goal Difference of -21. In 17th place it has Hull on 37 points with a goal difference of -23. Fuck it's tight
Craig 6707
What's more, this same predictor has Liverpool winning the title on GD (+46) from Man United (+39).
