IF (its a big if) Newcastle are relegated

Will anybody on here admit to planning to ditch their season ticket?

Maybe go to less games? Choose to miss the Plymouth's of this world? etc?

Its tough out there at the moment and that isn't going to help, attendance wise. I should also imagine the animosity towards Ashley will be pretty high.

On the flip side, weekends without football are fairly shite. So whats it to be?

Same as, reduced games or fuck it off all together?

I'll probably attend around 8 league games a season more than I do now.

Same here, more than that in fact. I went to 6 aways last seaosn, one this season. iF WE GO down I'll be everywhere away. At the end of this season baring in mind I've missed 3 home games and given my ticket to people for various reasons, I guarantee I'd be at at least 23 home games and 10 away next season.

What ever happens our average will be well above Tottenham's 23-29000 Premiership averages of 92-1999 so of time frame.

I'll prob end up at more games actuallysince more championship teams are within reasonable travelling distance from me, including my home town team but they just might be on their way up, there would be some personal irony

As someone who lives on the other side of the world, what's the difference in ticket price between the two divisions?

If your the world's most loyally supported club...fuck all. If you're plastic maybe 20%?

Aye, its not a big if like...

I'll still go to the games aye, why wouldn't I? Though I've missed more this season than I ever have and haven't been away once. Partly due to the nipper like and a change in priority, along with other stuff. But, I'll be there next season no matter what. MA can't take THAT away from me no matter how fucking hard he tries.

I am resigned to it, if we survive, it will be a pleasant surprise, I'll probably get to more matches, away games anyway.

Honestly I think we'll average over 37,000 the nearer it gets, everyone I know is renewing, I think this season has seen us getting much closer to our actual hardcore, with 47000 gates.

Anybody think the o/p is taking the piss here?

Hmm...maybe.

I think if Ashley is still here people would think twice about going (assuming we go down, which I also think is pretty inevitable now). If he sold up then I think we'd get well over 35k for home games. I'm going because I've already paid for it but I don't think I'd have gone next year were that not the case, if he was still here, irrespective of whether we were in the PL or not.

Same as me, I paid in advance but am not expecting anything. I didnt see any smallprint saying there would be a rebate if we were relegated.

Shows how blind love can do you over at times eh.

I'm absolutely renewing if we go down, more certain than if we stay up. The main downside for me is rising travel costs for home games.

I actually think that if we saw some regime change and a positive managerial appointment then we'd be shift 30-odd thousand season tickets and get 40k+ gates.
