Douggy B 0
Basically I break a laptop every five minutes and I have just done another one. My last one was HP and was nothing but bother from the fucking start. Flimsy piece of shit. I am now looking for another one, even reconditioned will do. As long as its a decent spec and most importantly DIRT CHEAP. Any suggested outlets? Edited March 24, 2009 by Danny B

Andrew Flintoff 0
Danny try the Dell outlet (http://www.dell.co.uk/outlet) they normally have some decent shit on there. Just bought a top-notch desktop for £230 so you can probably pick up a decent laptop and, despite what most people say, Dell are very good kit. Renton 21042
Lap tops are comparatively cheap as chips now in any case. The last one I bought was about 4 years ago and cost £1200. It'd be less than £400 now with comparatively better specs too. I've never had a lap top break on me either.
Park Life 71
Laptops cost about $ 60 to make in Malaysia and China and $ 50 in Vietnam.
snakehips 0
Danny B must be coating his laptops like a plasterer's radio to be breaking them so often. Either that, or sitting on them, the fat cunt.

Douggy B 0
The first one I broke by dropping it down a small flight of stairs. The second I broke by picking it up by the screen whilst drunk The third I spilt cofee on and it went weird This HP one, the Wifi turned itself off after 6 months and wouldnt come back on, then the screen went all flickery and now just wont turn on. As you can see its the manufacturers fault rather than mine. I have just bought a reconditioned toshiba for £180 quid. Bomb proof allegedly. Heres hoping. A potential zionist terrorist on our hands, here.

My first HP Laptop did exactly the same thing, and although my new HP that I got after claiming for the last one on the insurance hasn't done it yet, I am fully expecting it to do so. If it is out of warranty, you might just still be able to get it fixed for free. HP recognised there was a problem, and sent out a message saying they would fix a few of their laptop models for free if people were having the problem. I will try and find a link to their release...
