peasepud 59
Nearly had a fight during the match yesterday. The old bloke who sits with his wife next to me didnt make it so she must have given the ticket to someone else (Im guessing her son). Has to be the biggest tosser Ive ever had the misfortune to be near. Argued with 5 of us that it was Ryan Taylor who took the penalty! Then looked at me as if I was shit when I queried when Taylor got the afro. Sat and moaned on all game about how shit the fans were, no singing, no support nothing yet never once joined in when we sang. We bring Owen on and he shouts that hes not fit to lace Sholas boots and theres no way he should be ahead of him, then when Shola does come on and everyone else is moaning about the fact. Hes shouting on that Lovenkrands didnt move at all during the game and Stroller would have been all over the park! When I argued the opposite he reckoned I was only doing so because hes black and I wouldnt think Shola was shit if he'd been white. What a total tool. Kid Dynamite 7312
Cant possibly be worse than the cunt who sits behind me. He bellows at the top of his voice all game how shit every single newcastle player is whilst getting redder and redder. Even on the rare occasion one of our players plays well. I thought he was going to explode when Shola came on. Fortunately I sit next to 2 of benwells finest and every match they have to be restrained from lamping him. If we go down im hoping they give him a good kicking at the last home game!

At this point I would have smacked the guy! I think that is a bad racist comment in itself >_> Can't say I've ever had a run in with someone at any Football Match (that said, I don't have the cash to get to many!). The last guy I got chatting to was some old geezer at the Blackburn - Newcastle match (I had free tickets, but had to sit with the home fans..), and he was just hilarious. All I remember is him shouting out loud, in your stereotypical 'old man' voice, 'WAKEY WAKEY REF!" and waving his hands, as well as "Ha ha! Bye bye you! Bye bye!" when Butt got sent off

Nyff 0
I swear at one point he was going on about wanting to go and have words with the onlooking Fabio Capello, as well. On second thoughts, I should have gone and had words myself...He was in one of the sections where a mate of mine sits (one of the posh parts), so I totally could have gone down and got a picture On that subject: not sure if I have mentioned this one. When Big Sam was at his first game at Ewood he didn't have a Blackburn scarf to wave around when he entered the pitch. Luckily my previously mentioned mate was there in the posh bit, so Big Sam borrowed his scarf to show off with >_<
Guest Stevie
The thing is yous can moan all you want about people around you but say something. I try not to abuse our players, but plenty around me do, then don't join in with singin, on a regular basis I abuse all and sundry around me, it makes you feel better. Shola being booed on pmsl it just sums the support up.
Guest Stevie
I remember the worst cunt I ever heard was this bloke in the Gallowgate when it was standing, what a total cunt. All he did was abuse their black players for being black and David Kelly, "worst centre forward we'd ever signed" cos we were losing 0-1, and this was the time we were starting to get spoilt cos we were top of the league, his ranting continued. Then Kelly scored with his cock, I'm NOT kidding he scored with his cock at the Gallowgate End..."fuckin lucky bastard". Second half started ball fell to Kelly on the volley 30 yards out, fuckin blam, top corner one o the best goals I'd ever seen, and the bloke piped down after that. Guest alex
There was a bloke near me kicking off with all the people who booed Shola on. He was spot on. Shola's shit but ffs, booing a player coming on just because we're losing

Shola's shit but ffs, booing a player coming on just because we're losing was it booing shola or the decision to bring him on though... i'd rather he stayed on the bench like wouldn't boo him coming on more the people making the subs (i'd secretly be hating him though) I'll do a poll next time The distinction is subtle enough to make no difference anyway. Certainly in terms of the effect it has on the player / team anyway. Fucking arseholes.

Certainly in terms of the effect it has on the player / team anyway. Fucking arseholes. The people who did it are absolute pricks, it just lowers indiviual and team morale/confidence if thats possible and makes our support look like complete tools to people watching on TV. And i think they did both, first booing Hughtons usual piss poor substitution, but it clearly continued as Shola was ready to come on and was still going as he moved to his position on the pitch so it was clear to him what they thought. None of us want Shola anywhere near the team but he's on, support him and get behind the team. And he showed exactly why he shouldn't be there when he rolled that easy chance to the keeper, in his entire career i'm yet to see him strike a ball cleanly, even when he's scored!
