The BBC want their arses kicking like. It's the worst kept secret in football that FIFA takes backhanders to look favourably on bids etc, tell us something we don't know. FIFA are more arsed that two of their own got caught than bothered about what they did. Did the BBC really think they were going to bring down FIFA corruption? ;) You've got to play the game man ffs, which is why we won't get it.

Qatar got 2022. Decision close in the 2018, and it's went to a third stage, which means no one got 12 votes in the first two. Come ooooooooon please god.

Sepp Blatters powerbase at fifa are the countries of the devloping world....he's got to keep them happy to keep the gig. But he has to balance that with making a shedload of money.Which is where we (and Qatar) come in. But the Spanish/Portuguese bid has 12 votes in the bag apparently, which is the compromise between us and Russia, and it looks like even fifa cant face handidng their showpeice event to the mafia.

I don't believe that. There'll be toys out of this pram if we don't get it, this is bigger than the Olympics.

Just going on what 5live were saying like. We're by far the best bid but thats irrelevent really. Its politics thats decides it, not ability to dleiver a top class tournament.

It'll be intersesting to see the African teams' reception in Moscow or Madrid if they are succcessful. There are still dozens of match going morons in this country but at least theyve been shamed into silence. Not so everywhere though ;)
