Craig 6700
Also restart the print spooler service. Doubt it'll make much difference but it's worth a try.
khay 10
Cheers I'll try that as well. Saying that all ready got a guy with a print spooler error message as well.

khay 10
Anyone one with any more ideas? Third person this week now a new windows profiles fixes the problem but I would like a easier fix.
Rob W 0
network- printers... Is the resource hosting the network printer on? Is the resource hosting the network printer firewalled? Is the network printer on / plugged in? Is the access permissions set to Everyone or a particular group on the network printer host and is your problem child a member of the authorized group? Is he running a firewall locally? If it's the Windows firewall, is it on? If it is, I would look at the Exceptions tab to see the status of the File & Printer Sharing check box. Is F&PS also loaded in the network card properties? If a 3rd part firewall is installed locally, I'd look at it's settings.
khay 10
Looks like I might have fixed it. By following this guys instructions - http://www.eggheadcafe.com/conversation.as...readid=32861439 However I also deleted normal.dot (again) and did another detect and repair on word after this.
