very encouraging performance - we deserved something from that.

We carry on like that and we'll survive - problem is I bet we 'disappear' again against Hull... :icon_lol:

We are in deep shit.

we lost to the champions, as if we were ever likely not to

had it on the radio and it sounded like we played pretty well barring the lack of CMs so I'm fairly encouraged, like someone mentioned earlier goal diff could matter a lot this season, several league places so at least we haven't been raped ala last season we've managed a point and a -1 goal diff out of united in the league this season, I'd have taken that at the start and I'm ok with it now tbh

Very encouraging performance and I would have taken 1-2 at the start.

eh? :icon_lol:

You'd have "settled" for no points? :icon_lol:

I would have taken -1 on the goal difference.

It was a half decent performance but so what? Do you honestly think we're going to build on it?

Stoke and Spuds got three points and Hull and Blackburn could both get a point tonight.

We're fucked.

i'm really not concerned by the performance tonight, seems like we could have nicked a point. but as already pointed out, i fear we'll go missing against hull and they'll win their first game in months! the hull game is absolutely the most important and crucial game in recent history of this club. the results around us just aren't going our way at the moment. tonight again highlighted how important beye is to us, would be a massive boost to have him back soon. any central midfielders will do too

That sounds like an Allardyce team talk. :icon_lol:

Last season we came out with a goal difference of -10 from our games against Man U.

Get some perspective, anything but a demoralising drubbing is a bonus.

We played really really well tonight and if we can carry that attitude and performance into our nest games we can get something from them.

Enrique was awesome tonight, as to was martins but tired near the end.

Well done Geremi too.

Results didnt go our way tho :icon_lol:

what was your minimum expectation over 2 games against united this season?

Sorry but Taylor has had too many chances. Has cost us quite a few goals this season and is only good for making Colo the 2nd worst defender at the club at present.

We're dangerously close to the bottom 3 now though, Blackburn and Pompey both having games in hand over us could see us in the bottom 3 without doing anything. Boro look doomed and I dont think West Brom will fight their way out

Its too close for comfort at the moment.
