Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
If I look at the properties of a photo from my digital camera it says 180 dpi. I want to print some of these out ( to make a calendar as a present, and maybe a few larger ones to go on the wall). I've been told that for good quality printing, images should be 300dpi. So, if I use something like Lightroom (which I use for re-touching and cropping etc) and export the photos at 300dpi what will that do to: a ) the image quality and b ) the image size? I realise I'm probably being thick here by the way. Edited March 3, 2009 by Dr Kenneth Noisewater
Jimbo 175
If you were using Photoshop you could use the Genuine Fractals plugin to enlarge, not sure of any other techniques to achieve this.
