We set up our own little communities living by their own rules, making no effort to learn the lingo. I would have thought that was fairly obvious. you miss the point competely, and I would have thought that was fairly obvious. Anyway I was out and about chatting to the locals to get away from her insufferable moaning and this bloke was asking about me so I explained I was there with my girlfriend and she was sick in the hotel. When he told me she was poorly, I told him she's a sick Sikh (as do a lot of Indians, his pronunciation of Sikh is 'sik'). He thought this was hilarious.
