I just got back from doing the C2C on a bike. It is awesome and I thoroughly recommend it. 60 miles on the last day possibly not advisable, but cycling through the toon to Tynemouth was pretty special today.

If anyone wants to hoy a few quid at the Prostate Cancer Charidee that would be much appreciated. www.justgiving.com/4ps

Now, whiskey + bed.

Ok. firstly, joggers nipple frigging knacks!! Had it from 5 mile tonight with 2 mile to go. As a small update, Im now running 7.1 mile twice a week and 3mile once a week. The 7 mile takes me around 90mins and has a huge hill right in the middle (down then up again). From September Im upping the route to 10mile for a few weeks leading up to the run. Im much more confident now of actually getting around compared to when I started training in March or whenever it was and was huffing and puffing along 3 mile.

for those who dont know, Im doing this in aid of the Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund who help North East disabled children. If you have a spare couple of quid, see the link below in my sig.

Anyone doing the GNR this year?

Who gets our cash then?

Some of the more recognisable names are:

Among the runners will be 2009 X Factor winner Joe McElderry, who will be running for the Teenage Cancer Trust, singer Ellie Goulding and celebrity chefs Gordon and Tana Ramsay.

Radio 1 presenters Scott Mills, Greg James and Nick Grimshaw will also be taking part.

In addition, three cast members from Coronation Street, including Craig Gazey, who plays Graeme Proctor, Graeme Hawley, also known as John Stape, and Vicky Binns, who plays Molly Dobbs, will be taking part in the event in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Running for Emmerdale will be Tony Audenshaw, known as Bob Hope, Tom Lister who plays Carl King, and Nicola Wheeler, who plays, Nicola De Souza. Jake Wood, who appears on our screens as Max Branning, will be flying the flag for EastEnders.

Simon Bird and George Caulkin will be running with RunGeordieRun as well. > http://markallisonjogtole.blogspot.com/

Looks canny (apart from ending in Sunderland, how depressing is that!). Ending in Newcastle for our walk was great apart from stopping for coffee etc on the Quay but then having to set off again around the river and up to Wallsend.
