On a serious not though I personally think he's finished. The last few times he's played he's looked fucking awful, barely able to move at all. He's made Shola look like Bellamy. Deano 0 Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I think he has a MASSIVE part to play in the final stage of the season...Id love to see him and oba start against Bolton, that pairing imo is the best one at the club. If he stays fit and gets a few goals and assists then id give him a 1 year pay as you play contract becasue he does still have it. He holds the ball up, great 1st touch, clever n the ball and is a finisher, plus the fact he is probably the only player half decent in the air although Carroll has shown some arial ability. If he does fuck all come the end of the season id let him go but with him and owen set to leave we really do need to go out and get TWO quality replacements as i would not be confident at all going into next season with Carroll, Strola and Smith to partner Oba upfront.
