Smooth Operator 10
Anyone got any good ideas for a 60th birthday present, my dad is 60 on Saturday and is notoriously hard to buy for. His only real hobby is golf but he has everything he'd ever need on that front. Cheers.

Meenzer 15871
My parents turned 60 and celebrated 40 years since they first met in the same year, so I was able to get them various bits of 1948 - 1968 - 2008 commemorative stuff, memorabilia and random bits and pieces. That doesn't help you much though.

Smooth Operator 10
Stick with the hobby. What about final day tickets for this years open, a chance to see tiger and co in the flesh. Sort of thing a lot of golfers would love, but never get round to treating themselves to. I had thought of that and looked into it and it wasn't too expensive but then thought well a ticket for just him and the fact he'd have to travel all the way to Ayrshire on his own might not appeal too much. Has sat nav Has a golf club membership Has all he'd need from Americn golf Has no desire to party Has a divorce Has no special tipple Has gadgets, i.e. digital camera, photo frame etc But thanks. Was thinking a nice photo of him and his grand daughter put on a big canvas, if nothing else comes to light then i'll just do that i think. Why don't you go around and let him ride you? that means you'll have had the double up and I'm sure SMO will slip you a £20 for your troubles.
