I used to like it in the good ol' days when a pub would have cheese cubes, cold blackpud cubes and occasionally cold chopped up roast pots on the bar - free of charge. Yum yum. iirc this was more likely to happen on a Sunday lunchtime session.

Aye, they used to have cheese cubes, mini pickled onions and bowls of peanuts on the bar on a sunday lunchtime.

 

Probably stopped when the stories came out about the peanuts having traces of about 20 different peoples urine on them.

Aye, they used to have cheese cubes, mini pickled onions and bowls of peanuts on the bar on a sunday lunchtime.

My local still does that on a Sunday afternoon, Like to get early dibbs tho` as wouldnt like to follow some of the locals

 

I like cheeselets,dry roasted or scampi fries while supping my pint

Pub where I work, the manager gives out free roast potatoes if there are still some left over from sunday lunch. Lush. :D

Mostly things I miss from home.

Don't really eat crisps here. Normal Walkers are pretty crap, and McCoys would probably make my heart explode in my chest. I do like the baked Salt and Vinegar Walkers though, they're crunchy where the normal Walkers just feel kinda brittle.
