Guest alex
Keo is by far my favourite lager, but my favourite alcoholic drink is Glenmorangie. I'm not an alcoholic by any means, but I've been through a bottle of it in a night loads of times, such a mellow, lush, warm flavour, just a shame it's not your kidney's best pal. Smoggie's as well? Well I never. Oh dear is all that needs saying. I agree. Well at least you're aware how pathetic your posts look, which is something. He's practically in love with you man. Fuck off man. Put Keo in the search thing, he will have mentioned Keo more than me, and as it fuckin happens, he told me of a shop in Jesmond last year that sells it the only place in Newcastle, and that it was his favourite drink. I hadn't had it since I was 13 on a family holiday to Cyprus, and it was that nice I remembered it. All this coming from the bloke, who actually needed a Japanese doctor to fly in from Saitama, as he was the only one in his field who could succesfully dislodge your tongue from Gemmill's arse. I can see emotions are running high Stevie, so I'll leave it at that.
Guest Stevie
I was out with my sister, a few of her mates, and a few of my mates in London after the 1999 Cup Final, and I was so pissed they were buying me Kaliber poiuring it in a pint glass, and I didn't realise that I'd be drinking alcohol free lager at the latter end of the night till the next day when they told me. maggiespaws 0
If I had to pick just one it would have to be Gin & Tonic with line. Gin must be Bombay Sapphire, Tonic must be Schweppes and the lime must be erm green! Swap BS for Kendricks and that sounds like a winner for me. Lots of lime though! Not tried that one but I'll look out for it. Another I'm on the lookout for is Tanquery 10. Supposed to have a more citrus infused flavour and is very smooth. Never seen any to buy it like. EDIT: Alex - Tanquery is my 2nd fav Gin Tanqueray 10 is lush but it's well dear. It's made specifically for Martinis where you're drinking almost pure gin though. Probably not worth the extra dosh for G&Ts imo. Yeah, I'd read it was for Martini's, but one review said it was really nice in a G&T. Still if it's really expensive, sounds like it might be a bit of a waste as you say. Agree with Donaldscott too - BS & Tanquery are leagues ahead of the bog standard stuff. To be fair though, std Gordons is hardly rat piss. I find it funny that for a long while, Tanquery wasn't available in the UK even though it's made in Scotland. It was export only IIRC and you could only buy it in duty free etc. My Dad used to bring bottles back if he'd been on business trips. The 'proper' export stuff is still stronger (about 47%) than the stuff you get here (about 43%). And 10 is nice in a G&T. I don't really like Martinis anyway. Vodka Martinis are nice though. Tom 14011
I dont see the point of drinking alcohol free drinks. May aswell have a J20!! Yep. Or even a blackcurrant juice, In some pubs it's nicer than the lager
Park Life 71
If it's lagers then various Czech ones. Budvar, Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen. If it's ale then Marstons Pedigree, Flowers, or a German white beer (Erdinger or Pauliner from Bavaria). Murphys is better than Guinness. Shorts: then either Bombay Sapphire. Vodka then Zubrowka Bison grass. (Beautiful herby finish can be drunk without mixer with one cube of ice). Whiskey currently Oban is the boy. Red Wine normally French and youngish with a light finish. (So I can drink loads). White Italian wines. My own silly drinks: Guinness with a shot of Tia Maria. (Chocolate heaven). Vodka, fresh lime juice, dash of cranberry juice, splash of tonic on top. (Girls love it).

B52s are canny nice. It's a layered shot with Baileys, Grand Marnier and Kahlua / Tia Maria (both the same, more or less). I made a one up which was basically just white creme de cacao with vanilla Stoli garnished with grated white chocolate served in a Martini glass. They're to die for tbh - ask Chez Given if you don't believe You can hoy a bit of sugar syrup in if it's too strong. Did a variation on it with with creme de framboise and raspberry vodka served with a raspberry on a cocktail stick. They're both a bit sweet for my tastes like, but nice for one or two. Brock Manson 0
Recently tried Guinnes with a shot of tia maria in. Tasted rather nice, takes the edge off it. Although my drink of choice would be a mojito. Paid £8 for one in London recently. If I'm drinking to quench a thirst though, nothing beats half a lager shandy with a shot of lime cordial. Really refreshing that.

Guest alex
I just have a well-stocked bar round at mine TR (not actually a cheesy bar like people had in the 70s / 80s but you catch my drift). Just call it a hobby And no Parky, that was another time. That was a ltd edition cask strength whisky from the Isle of Arran. It was lush. We'd had a few before then though. You remember when I went as I had to turn down that invite you offered my for the Remy Martin place. I've been to Cognac since though, so not to worry. I'll be over when it's a bit warmer, whiskey is something I could do with some educating on. Remy sent me a few bottles. I'll be over in Paris soon to write a review on the Place Ahenee Hotel (sp) so will see what local drinking Chez gets upto. He can deffo drink a fair amount of any kind of mixture. Get You Rules for life: A: Never trust anyone with a moustache B: Never trust an estate agent C: Certainly never trust a man that puts lime in his beer!! :D Personally I love a really good pint of Real Ale (Jail Ale, Exmoor Stag being 2 of my favourites) and as has been pointed out a Gin and tonic with plenty of ice and 2 slices of lime takes some beating. Jimbo 172
Too many favourites to narrow it down so I'll keep it to a short list Magners Cider Adnams Broadside (real Ale) Southern Comfort Broon Ale Cabernet Sauvingon Merlot Margarita Snakebite and black
WubbleUC 0
Lager and beer wise, I don't have a particular favourite, I just know the ones I don't like. Carling & Carlsberg top that list. Fucking vile. Spirit-wise, Bundaberg, Australian rum, not sold much over here but Fenwicks and sometimes Wetherspoons have it though.
Brock Manson 0
Sailor Jerry's and coke is rather nice actually. My favourite shot is the blowjob: Banana liqour, Bailey's layered on top and then all topped off with whipped cream. You're not allowed to use hands. Aye, that works really well with the Bundaberg mentioned above. In fact, they sell it pre-mixed in Australia, but it's not as nice as made fresh.
