Guest alex
Used to love the two (I think there were just two) silver/grey umbro away kits from the mid-late 80s.
manc-mag 1
One of them was basically the Watford home one but in grey/black instead of yellow red/black. That one with the grey and black band across the chest. Class that one.

Craig 6700
The old umbro one which you can get a copy of in the club shop (minus the umbro badge) was one of those wasn't it? The V neck one, that we got promoted in aye. As was the slightly ameded roundy neck one that replaced it I think (the one minus the trim on the sleeves) - up to the roundy neck one with the sort of small overlayed square pattern on that replaced that. Basically up to the bar code one, which I think started getting sold with a Greenalls logo and then later the Blue Star. The Blue star patches that people could buy to put over the old Greenalls logo were a fucking sight like! I remember when we finally had the 'raised' Greenalls logo on the yellow away strip with the collar, rather than the screenprinty logos-felt like we'd arrived then (even though we were gash!) Some joker's trying to sell one on ebay for £45!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-1991-NEWCASTLE-...A1%7C240%3A1318
