Craig 6700
I got one with Shola 23 onthe back for £15 Which reminds me... if we do sign Sol Campbell, does that mean Shola will have to give up his shirt number? I know Sol was #32 and #31 last season at Notts County and Arsenal respectively but traditionally he's always gone for #23.

MattM4 0
Sol switched to 5 at Tottenham once he got properly established. That one needs filling at NUFC.

MattM4 0
He definitely had several seasons with number 5 before going to Arsenal. I had him in fantasy team
Craig 6700
Scotland have gone retro with their away shirt. Shame about the embossed crest IYAM
khay 10
It looks all right. embossed chest does not really add or take anything away though.

Giraffidae 0
seeing that Forest shirt with their earned 2 gold stars on it next to the Man City shirt with their 3 gold stars pisses me off — there should be rules about that, cheeky gits. I’m not trying to hijack this into another “our clubs bigger than theirs” mindless discussion, but how they ever got away with it rankles me. Although there are no official guides for displaying the stars, City and their ‘for decorative reasons’ is pathetic.
khay 10
Could it have been part of their badge before Stars meant anything?
Giraffidae 0
they only put those stars on in 1998, it went unnoticed at the time because they were in the lower leagues. Brazil started it off after 1970.

Matty 0
whenever I see someone in a City shirt I have to ask them what they’re for. It's probably 1 for every 10,000 supporters they had when they were in the 3rd division.... MASSIVE club you know!

Brazil started it off after 1970. I might be wrong but I thought it was originally for winning 10 Scudettos. I know that's what it does represent on the shirts of Italian clubs anyway. Btw, I remember at the time Citeh saying it was to give their updated badge a more 'European' look.

Asprilla 96
That is what a football shirt should look like IMO. Club crest and colours and not much else. whenever I see someone in a City shirt I have to ask them what they’re for. That's the thing though, I bet half their fans are embarrassed about it. It's sad as fuck. Like employee of the month. Edited July 26, 2010 by Asprilla
Wavey Davey 0
That is what a football shirt should look like IMO. Club crest and colours and not much else. Steady on. It's nice but not worth -ing over. That's a bit of a problem to me when shirts start getting simplified, especially when the top is one colour, is that I eventually ask "why not just get a t-shirt with a badge on?". I like where Umbro have gone with the 'back to basics' style, but it's just not worth £30-£40 quid when it just looks like polo shirt you can get for a tenner from Burtons..
