Craig 6670
How to get a black and white striped shirt right...... Can even forgive the black patch considering the rest of the shirt is http://www.footballshirtculture.com/10/11-...e-home-kit.html
Craig 6670
Mackems have released their new kit and they've gone with Umbro's 'tailored by' range... Kinda sticks in the throat this one - it's spot on http://www.footballshirtculture.com/10/11-...-umbro-kit.html
Andrew 4713
Like that NC one, just about spot on for B&W stripes now as for the Sunderland one, as you say, kind of a kick while we're down really its as good as it could have been, patched on the back? Craig 6670
patched on the back? Looking at the photo of the shirt not being worn, it doesn't appear to have a patch. Looks like a striped back to me That design in black and white stripes would have been sublime for us.
khay 10
I thought the patch was a rule? They might have changed it now though.
Andrew 4713
I thought the patch was a rule? They might have changed it now though. I've explained this 4 or 5 times in this thread Striped shirts only need to be patched if the Number and lettering being put on the back does not stand out from both of the shirts primary colours since sunderland will presumably use black lettering they dont need patches but because we use either black or white we DO need a patch if we used red lettering (which would look fantastic) we wouldnt need a patched shirt

Wavey Davey 0
I'm not keen on teams changing their shirts after one season like boro and the mackems. I know we did it recently but adidas had given us the old heave-ho, so we had no choice.
