 Is that a spoiler? Apologies if so, I don't think everyone thinks it fizzled out.

I still get pissed off about people spoiling The Koran, so my bad.

I didn't think it fizzled. First 8 episodes tell the main story. 9&10 wrap it up

Class tv and hard to believe how shady the local police are. The 2 lawyers seem to be the only 2 normal people involved in the whole thing

Thought the Beeb's adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None was class. Proper old skool atmospheric thriller. It's 3 x 60 min parts which you can still see via iPlayer.

Just watched the first one. Good stuff, quite creepy. Very watchable.

I used to love poirot, miss marple stuff as a boy.

On a similar note, does anyone remember box of delights? I loved that when it was in back in the 80s. The whole thing is on YouTube if anyone fancies a nostalgia trip.

Box of Delights was great, I remember it as one of the TV highlights of my childhood. I read the book as well, which was also good.

The Children of Green Knowe was another one the beeb ran in the run up to Xmas, around the same time as The Box of Delights. It was similarly spooky but not quite as good.

Did you ever watch those programs at school (Look and Learn maybe?) that were part entertainment part educational. There was a few different ones, I think one the was called The Boy From Outer Space and another was Dark Towers. The Dark Towers one was quite creepy as a bairn I seem to remember.
