fuck this is embarrassing for lovejoy

unbelievably pathetic

The funniest thing is his constant whining that Barcelona having 70% of possession means nowt because the game is all about creating chances and Chelsea created most. What he means is that the game's not about creating chances but scoring them....which they didn't even attempt to do in Barcelona, but Barcelona succeeded to at Chelsea.

Maybe it's because I've got a couple of mates who are genuine Man U fans. They speak with the right mix of humility and pride. Maybe that's why I want them to win, or more likely, I fucking hate the systemic cheating of the Spaniards, this myth that they play the best football and the bias that I perceive they receive.

Just back off the mic a bit, Fish. I know you mean well but you're headed for a good shoeing tbh.

:o

Thing is, the football played by Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool is top draw. But there seems to be this blind belief that Spanish football is as good as Barcelona and Real Madrid football. I watch Spanish football and get so fucking tired of the cheating and rolling about and that they seem geared towards cheating the ref, rather than beating the opposition.

I also hate the inherent dishonesty of their players, even after the games they can't come out and say "you know what, I've seen those given and I wouldn't have been surprised."

I'm not saying English football is perfect, but I'd much rather watch the Premier League than La Liga.

I just don't get this desire to see English clubs fail in Europe. I want every team from England to do better than the foreign clubs, I don't think I've ever been pleased to see an English club drop out of the Champions League.

Honestly, don't care how unpopular this is, but I don't think Barcelona deserved to go through.

They were tactically bettered by a well drilled, well disciplined Chelsea team for 180 minutes. Chelsea should have had one penalty at least and 2-0 would have ended Barcelona's European adventure.

ah well, I hope Man U redress the balance and win because of some dodgy penalties and the like.

(p.s. Parky, this is one place where your conspiracy theory sense would be beneficial... the only non-english team getting away with at least one blatant penalty claim, arguably more?)

One fuckin shot on target in 90 minutes, people pullin themselves over them, 5 blatant pens turned down, fuckin foreign cunts. Nothing will happen to that Platini neither what a french head hes got as well, fat cunt, fuckin fix, you wouldnt get a Northern League ref to ref a premiership game, and this is the paralell, "sort barca oot and we'll sort ye a fishin boat oot in the fjords"...."nee bother Michel"

Who cares, Man U v Barca is the correct final.

After the game, striker Didier Drogba could not control his emotions and called Ovrebo a "disgrace", and Bosingwa has now echoed the Ivorian's frustration.

"This referee was bought. I do not know if he is a referee or a thief. There are no words to describe the person that was on the pitch here," he told RTP after the game.

"We are all sad, but we have to raise our heads high again. There is nothing to say about Barcelona's goal, but there were penalties that were not awarded."

On the performance of the man in charge of the game, the Portugal international added, "The way he refereed the match was not the most correct one. He should never referee again."

Would you permit it's use in this instance, Fop? :o

I can support whoever the fuck I want Stevie. Fact is I've been a Newcastle fan since I was 4, and I'm not going to stop supporting them just because of your xenophobic waffle. I would've fucked off long ago if I didn't give a shit about this club, but I still feel absolutely gutted whenever I watch this shower of shite. Yet I still love the club, whenever I've been to a game I've absolutely loved it. There's a special buzz I get from following the team through good and bad that I just don't feel anywhere else. Who are you to deny me that you stottie-gorging buffoon?

I hate Chelsea for the reasons I gave. Couldn't care less who supports them in my 'wankhole' hometown. Forgive me if I bear a sense of afection towards my hometown club when I've watched them come from the depths of the old Division 2 to the Premiership. But one of my most exciting times following that team was when they signed my old hero Sir Les. My favourite player during his time at Newcastle playing right on my doorstep. Amazing. :D

Stop being such a fucking daft wank.

from the BBC:

Att: 37,857

Stamford Bridge is 42,055, you can see a few being taken up for fan seperation between home / away mabye, but to be 4,000+ off your attendance for a semi final of the champions league?!

Like asking a flower not to blossom, or a bird not to fly.

On the attendance, i noticed that the back rows of the stand behind the goal were all empty (opp away fans end). Only the back rows though, it was as if they were trying to hide the fact they couldnt sell out a CL semi-final against Barcelona.

İmo the last penalty appeal was the most worthy. Pıques arm was up before the ball was struck and I dont thınk ıt was ın any way ıntentıonal. Drogba should carry the blame, he fluffed enough chances to wın 3 games! And hes the bıggest cheat ın the game

Imagine if Mourinho was Chelsea manager last night, I think it would've been him in the telly saying it's a fucking disgrace, he'd have probably been on a plane to see Platini straight away.

I'm not one to cry conspiracy, but I think a lot of people think something really fishy happened last night and I'm one of them, it could be the ref just had a shit game, but I sense that there was more to it than that.

Had a few sociable ones last night, or unsociable ones as they turned out on here, so sorry about the tone towards you Brock, but what I said is correct your hatred for Chelsea is born out the fact a lot of your town supports them. I've got nothing against them me, they are certainly no where near as dislikable as Spurs.

The Pique one come on. 95 times out of 100 that's a penalty.

Sending Abidal off for nowt suggests to me it was just him having a mare. That should have been game, set and match to Chelsea after all.

Souness was the only one who said it was a correct decision, I honestly think he touched Anelka's left leg causing him to trip I've watched in slow motion, and if you look at the footage again, he looks at the linesman, who gave it, and said "red?". The fact is UEFA hate England, especially that fat big nosed French disgrace of a man Wankini, and it would've been a disaster for continental Europe to be excluded from the party yet again. Make no mistake the only people I think in the world who wanted Chelsea to go through were English people, and even some of them wanted Barca.
