This league can be a joke at times.

Fucking Sky commentators immediately saying how it was a clear red too. Cunts.

TV punditry just needs an overhaul in general. The arrogance and supposed authority of the majority of pundits is astounding - usually the ones who haven't done anything since their playing careers.

No other explanation other than corruption. Man Utd and referees need to be investigated.

Fucking behave man

What other explanation is there then?

There are loads of explanations; referees are intimidated by vociferous support, tricky skilful players are more likely to playing for successful clubs (and those players are more likely to try and con a ref), referees just aren't very good at spotting cheats.

If you really think there's a conspiracy that needs investigating, you sound like a liverpool fan.

You remember we get dubious decisions? Ben Arfa wasn't fouled at Old Trafford, Cisse was offside against liverpool etc. etc. They get more because they've got vociferous support and tricky (cheating) players.

Cisse wasn't offside btw, Ben Arfa got the touch in the middle which played him on

Even if Ben Arfa did get a touch I thought Cisse was ahead of the last defender, if not, fair enough, but my point was that there isn't a Man United/Referee conspiracy. Big clubs get big results :dunno:

It's not a conspiracy but unfortunately for the English game it definitely is a common occurrence.

The big clubs will always tend to get the decisions their way when playing against the small, especially at home. Until the FA enforce stringent training measures with all match officials then nothing will change.

There are several referees who shouldn't be allowed to officiate professional fixtures because of their disgraceful ineptitude. This season seems to have been far worse than recent seasons past. Perhaps the officials are nervous about the implementation of technology that will show them up for their poor performances and so are bottling big decisions left right and centre.

I'd be delighted to see technology show up incompetent refs for what they are. We could then swiftly dispense with them and replace the old guard with refs who don't have Man U/Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal tattoos.

Do Manchester United and other leading clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona benefit from biased refereeing decisions when they play in front of their home crowd? It’s a widely-held view, but Tim Harford challenges it with a look at the penalty statistics.

Balotelli lead role in his own self indulgent soap opera today...looks like he has something printed on a t-shirt below his top too. Arenal started off dominant but Citeh have comem ore into it. Would love to see Man City do 'em over and then the Champions League race would really be on!
