JonGoodwyn 1
We should be going for at least one good cup run next year after (if) the squad has been strengthened over the summer. Doesn't Pardoo have a pretty good track record of cups too? He got West ham and Palace to the FA cup final and won one the other year with Southampton. Craig 6700
See Mancini's pathetic handshake offer to Hughes at end of Citeh game ?!What an ignorantly aloof petulant bastard . Hughes was fuming and I don't blame him ! - shoulda yarked the greasy little shit back by his twatfull scarf Pretty hypocritical coming from Hughes like. He did the same to Tony Pulis not that long ago.
LeazesMag 0
worst of all, when someone like this comes along once in a blue moon and wins a trophy with a team that has been put together relatively cheaply [apart from our rejected trophy player who scored the winner...] people come out of the woodwork and try to say it can work for everybody else and give you consistent success. No derail intended, it is one of the reasons I wanted Arsenal to win, although it's nice for Carr who got a lot of undeserved stick when he was at Newcastle. It takes some doing but I think that's your stupidest post ever. What I'm saying is FACT. Look no further than a few idiots on here. What you're saying is that in your ideal world only clubs which show "ambition" by your ridiculous definition should win all of the trophies just in case it encourages other people to "do it on the cheap" FFS man that's what football is all about - the FA cup is only the event it is (or was) because "stupid" clubs could win it. Even our own club's trophy haul was all done "on the cheap" - maybe that's not possible in the league any more but to apply your stupidity to the cups is fucking breathtaking. I'm talking about what it takes to achieve consistent high league positions, as an indication of the levels and standards you aim for, you don't necessarily need to be a top side buying the best players to win the FA Cup or the League Cup which has been proven throughout history, but you need to be a quality team to win the title of get into the top places. Kids stuff. As for saying it "takes some doing", look in the mirror especially at the stupid misguided idealist political shite you spout. How many wankers have said "Keegan won nowt" or "Portsmouth - and now Birmingham - have shown how to do it" and hilariously now claim them to be "bigger" because of it. How tragic can you get. I just wanted Arsenal to win, and said that because Birmingham won some wankers would now claim that as justification for Mike Ashley running NUFC like Netto. Only in your mind where you make up shit to argue against with no facts. One minute you're saying there's nothing wrong with Portsmouth's almost criminal outlay to administration and beyond as it won them something, the next you're saying you're happy for the big teams to win everything "just in case" it means people can actually give credit to a hard working cheap team. If we suddenly developed a crop of great youngsters and won something (maybe even the league) would it piss you off that it hadn't been done with money because it would finally kill your "investment" shite? Neville Neville Neville 0
Pretty sure that a 4 day turnaround between incident and suspension being invoked would be abnormal for the FA. Plus, if he had been charged, they would definitely appeal, so he would have played tonight by the by, as he's a twat and he should be serving a suspension, just not for this game SHouldnt even be playing Aye, that too. No - I gave up my ST two years ago because I don't enjoy it enough any more. I don't advocate cheap teams as a choice - I just don't sneer at them either. What you don't get is that short of a billionaire who is willing to spend, your wish can never happen so you may as well get used to making the best out of shit.
