Really hope Lee Clark gets plenty of credit, regardless if he gets promoted with Huddersfield or moves on elsewhere. Has his team playing decent football for this level. Aye, he's done well...not sure if he's even turned 40 yet? Eddie Mitchell is Bournemouths owner and has gone above and beyond the call of duty in trying to stop the team from getting promoted this season...he got rid of the 2 best strikers and let the other best young manager in the country Eddie Howe go to Burnley in mid season. Papa Lazaru 0 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 I like the way Clarkie is progressing, quietly getting on with it, producing a team that plays the kind of football we all like to watch with a level of success as well and when i've seen interviews with him he comes acorss quite thoughtful and intelligent in management terms which you wouldn't neccesarilly have expected from his interviews as a player! But it seems he's one of those football people who whilst not academic by any stretch of the imagination clearly was an "intelligent footballer" and that has translated to his management so far. Now he has gone away shown his quality and if he keeps progressing at this rate could one day be the name the fans want here ahead of somebody like Shearer who might never take a job lower down in the leagues to see what he can do.
