Papa Lazaru 0
Suarez is different class. Difference between the teams today for me. PS I make no secret of how much I detest Man United, so that was a class response by Liverpool fans to the most detestable song in the Premiership: ("We're Man Utd, we'll do what we want") "You're Man Utd, you'll do as you're told". That song sums up manu and the arrgoant bunch of pricks they are, same as their the only bunch of people who with no irony or self awareness at all would call their stadium the theatre of dreams, absolutely cringeworthy. Don't like the scousers either like, but that was a great response! It was taking on new levels of indignation for me recently what with Taggart shortlisting who is and isn't fit to referee Man U games while the powers-that-be stood nodding. Shoved it right back down their throats with that though. And I don't like Liverpool either but they're by far the lesser of two evils. There was an article from Jeff Winter, who is a complete and utter bellend, but his point was a good one for a change. And he pointed out that early in his career he sent off Roy Keane, Fergie kicked off and Winter didn't ref manu for about two years, in which time he'd reffed other clubs 4 and 5 times. Basically its known that the fa are spinless arselicking twats who let him dictate who does and doesnt ref manu, and its still going on, because if clattenburg had actually done his job instead of being a tool, he'd no doubt have been off the "allowed to ref manu" list straight away. Nice disclaimer btw and I agree 100% Horrible club that need to be made to realise football has one single set of rules for both teams.

NJS 4365
Smallpox versus cancer for me - though I enjoy seeing Ferguson's blood pressure being raised by almost fair refereeing. Having said that I don't think there was that much difference between the Carragher or Rafael challenges and Ryan Taylor's.
Guest LeazesLad
CT in watching non-Newcastle game shocker! It's not illegal ye naa. First time this season I want Spurs to win here like. Not being pessimistic but we're not far away now from 18th, a run of three or four bad results and we'll be shitein it. Thought Liverpool were tremendous today, Gerrard looking like the player he can be, the dippers crowd showed some passion and being fair Anfield can be an intimidating place. Horrible seeing Carroll in that scummiest of shirts though, will be even worse when we play them, and everyone here know he'll score. Easiest hattrick I've seen since Gary Lineker against Poland in 1986, Kuyt he's technically pish I think, he works hard, but he's a lucky footballer like Brian McClair was, scuffs shots and they go in the top corner, Man Utd looked a spent force. Wenger must be fuckin well pissed off that they didn;t beat the mackems now, but if Chelsea go to OT and win, I think they'd have bottled it, maybe John Terry's mind games worked. Chelsea were 22/1 to win the league 2 weeks ago, they won't be now.
ToonMarshy 2
Other than the fact that R.Taylor was in a Newcastle shirt when he made a tackle - rookie error that the ref punished immediately

Monroe Transfer 0
That's how to get back into the game after going behind after being in front. Shame we've got less about us than the likes of Wolves sometimes.

Both blatant reds and would have been if the players weren't playing for manu or liverpool, but carraghers was worse i suspect. However Nanny is a diving cheating little prick so he's had this coming for a long time for his antics, never have any sympathy for cheats when they finally get a clobbering. Howay is there any need? This squad can be accused of lacking in quality in some areas and definitely in depth, but I don't accept the criticism about "having something about them", because our lot clearly do. Wolves aren't exactly the example you'd pick to make the point like, seeing as they're below us and have spent the lions share of the season not having had anything about them. Tbf. Sometimes being today, and before Pavlyuchenko scored. Just to clear any confusion that my badly worded post may have encouraged. Papa Lazaru 0
Nowt wrong with that 'goal' As much as i don't want to defend refs, i think at full speed to the ref that would have looked a foul, but the linesman should probably have seen otherwise! PaddockLad 17053
Nani's gashed leg doesn't look as bad as it does in the above pic. No shinpads or did Carrgher's studs make them disintergrate?...if you look at his other leg it really looks like he's not wearing any at all, which, when I played, was against the rules. Officials dont check things like that anymore, which may have kept him in the game, silly fucker.
