Diouf should never be allowed on a pitch again, he's been a complete and utter unsporting prick his entire career. Shocking example to be setting as a professional. What was his red card for anyway? Back-talk? Bougherra should be given a lengthy ban as well. Whether the decision is correct or not, preventing the ref from showing a card not once, but twice? Crazy. It's a totally different scenario admittedly but I'm still scarred by the season in which we did go down. That and other times when we've looked secure in what we're after and we've managed to mess things up. I simply don't want to take anything for granted. I reckon we'll stay up but this club (especially under this regime) has the amazing ability to mess things up at just the wrong time. Not wishing to irritate anyone with my negativity. ToonMarshy 2 Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 I get where you are coming from mate - though the season we went down we were a lot better on paper, there was a lot of negativity and a lack of spirit that all totaled up to our dropping. Despite the fact we have missed out on at least 9-12 points the past few months (sometimes by seconds), and the fact that we have a paper thin squad, no bench, and the teams below us are all picking up points - I still believe we will be fine, it may not be comfortable, and it may not be pretty but theres just something about us this time around that despite all the bad points? pretty much screams security. The telling moment for me was when i wanted west ham to beat liverpool, not just because they are thieving cunts - but because it gave us opportunity to climb a spot. 2 months ago i would've been praying for a draw or a hammers loss just to keep them further below us, right now i'm more interested in the teams above us fucking up and maybe (pipe dreaming) catching that fabled 6th spot.
