Bombadil 0
It's a bit sad having to watch two former players scoring for their sides in a cup final when we haven't been to one in ages.
Papa Lazaru 0
Good to see refs never change, he knows the rules, he knows that is without question a red card offence by Vidic, but its manu so the rules don't matter. And nobody will call him to account for it afterwards either. Â And he's got the usual one way yellow card which only gets awarded to manus opposition and not them. Guest alex
Carrick has made a massive difference since coming on Aye. It's strange that Capello ignored him for so long after taking over because you'd think he'd be just his sort of player.
SloopJohn 0
i find it incredibly frustrating how the press has leaped on the Crouch and Wright-Phillips substitutions as game changing but Carrick was immense in midfield. He has to start ahead of Lampard next game (who offered very little). Carrick keeps the rhythm of the game going and because he's such an adept passer from deep he always finds Rooney. Â Lampard wastes/loses possesion too much for england, carrick just doesn't do it, hes got a better range of passes and in capellos system should work better than lampard alongside barry given he naturally sits deeper than lampard who wants to be alogside gerrard too much
