Craig 6682
Rio Ferdinand has denied the Violect Conduct charge and can play against City tonight. That's an appalling loop hole and one that the FA should extend his ban for trying to use it. They should double the ban for the appeal (as the offence was worse than the ones Babayaro got done for) and then add another 3 on for the gamesmanship of ensuring playing in the semi - won't happen though. The daft twat is appealing again!!!! Hope they chuck the fucking book at him this time for wasting even more time. Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has opted to appeal against his increased ban for violent conduct imposed by the Football Association. The 31-year-old lost his original appeal against a three-match suspension for an altercation with Craig Fagan in the 4-0 win over Hull on 23 January. The FA labelled the appeal "frivolous" and increased his ban to four games. The appeal board will meet before the end of next week and could decide to further increase the punishment. Ferdinand only returned to action at Old Trafford against Hull for the first time in three months after recovering from a calf injury. But after appearing to swing an arm at Hull striker Fagan, the England centre-half picked up a three-match ban, which was then extended to four after the FA rejected the defender's appeal as "frivolous". Because of the appeal, Ferdinand, who has made only 10 appearances for his club so far this season, was able to play in the Carling Cup semi-final win over Manchester City. He now risks facing a further suspension if he fails to overturn the ban on the fourth game. More to follow. Papa Lazaru 0
ban him for 10 games for wasting time trying to play the system the evidence against him is just so blatant, whats he trying to achieve? Its manu and Fergie who think they have a divine right to do as they please and shouldn't be punished for anything they do. The FA should just grow a pair and hammer him and next time Fergie rips into an official on about his tenth warning, hammer him as well, but i doubt it.
