Gemmill 46023
What a mental result. Wigan deserve to stop up for the last two games alone. Spurs have got three away games against relegation threatened opposition as well. Plenty opportunity for more funny results like this. Kid Dynamite 7169
It's not beyond the realms of possibility that we take 6 points off Stoke and Wigan, Chelsea beat Arsenal and we are 3rd with 3 left to play

ADP 0
Really rate Martinez. Can tell he knows what he is doing, and its nice to see a bit of genuine humility in the game. Be interesting to see where his career takes him. Hope he stays in England... Though id be gutted if he went to the Mackems.
Gemmill 46023
Unfortunately they're gonna get beat off Fulham in the next game and still need points when they come to play us. Can't see them keeping this going and winning away at Fulham, unless the Fulham players are already on the beach (no sign of that so far).

Park Life 71
Wigan out passed Arsenal in various stages tonight. Good to see money isn't everything these days.

The Fish 10963
They've looked really good since Martinez changed them to the 3-4-3. Given so many teams seem to be moving away from out and out wingers, do you reckon we'll see more teams using this 3 at the back system?
Craig 6700
Arsenal / Chelsea draw at the weekend, a win for us and a defeat for Spurs would have the table like this: 3. Arsenal P35 Pts65 4. Newcastle P34 Pts62 5. Spurs P34 Pts59 6. Chelsea P34 Pts58 3 points behind 3rd place with a game in hand? Yes please!!

Monroe Transfer 0
I'd do unspeakable (but good) things to Pardew if we finished third. Last thing we want to do is finish fourth and either miss out on the CL because of Chelsea winning it this season, or by us repeating the Partizan debacle by failing at the qualifier stage. Brock Manson 0
We've got some hard games coming up, but to even be in with the tiniest shout at finishing 3rd!?! I don't want this season to end.

Funnily enough Guti and Santon could do the wide mf/full back role. Edited April 16, 2012 by Park Life

Dirty fuckers though, if they're allowed away with their usual shit it could cause us problems in the game and future ones Can see Huth being sent out to hit cisse or Ben arfa pretty hard. toonotl 3106
Wigan are a poor side really. Hopefully they get spanked on Saturday to bring them back into line with the level they have played at all season before we play them.

Whilst EL football will be a massive achievement I'm fearing more and more that we may live to regret that last minute goal Vermaelen scored against us last month. Had that game ended in a draw the above scenario would leave the table looking like this on Saturday evening: 3. Arsenal P35 Pts63 4. Newcastle P34 Pts63 5. Spurs P34 Pts59 6. Chelsea P34 Pts58 Level with 3rd place with a game in hand.
