manc-mag 1
Tedious, average as fuck, English (press wankfest) winger. Ferguson will be telling him to go down like that btw-any touch you get in the box go straight down, percentage wise it's going to get given at OT. Do it early too for an early goal and settle the jitters. Nailed on Young will be under direct instructions at this stage of the season, no matter what shite Ferguson might have scripted for the interviews afterwards. Bizza 105
For anyone that missed You have to ask why Clark left his leg in like that, just asking for the foul. Pillock.
ADP 0
Hate all this 'there was contact' shite to justify it. So fuck if there was contact? Contact does not immediately constitute a foul. What about when two players challenge for the same header? There is 99 times out of 100 contact there, but it usually doesn't mean that one is deliberately impeding the other. Penalty boxes now seem to have a completely different set of rules compared to the rest of the pitch, the gulf is absurd. Its like outside the box is a contact sport, inside the box it isn't. Young saw that he had taken the ball away from him with his touch, and used current football climate of a-strong-wind-will-blow-you-over physics to his advantage. It's a fucking joke. Pretty much my thoughts summed up. I hate this mentality of 'winning the penalty' commentators going on about how the attacker saw the opportunity and was smart to take it - I get it, teams need points and will employ such tactics to win them, but that whole mentality would be a lot harder to run with if referees would just allow for the fact that contact happens. Yes! even inside the penalty box!!!

Guest CabayeAye
Evra just shoulderbarged a Villa player in the head, ran on fine for a bit then realised the Villa player had gone down, so Evra decided to collapse on the floor posthumously and be 'injured'.
