Park Life 71
You must be over the moon that at last MA is meeting your stringent spending requirements. I think we will get one more in the central midfield. The battle for survival starts here. Edited January 27, 2009 by Park Life

Deano 0
Id be satisfied with: In.. Lovenkrands Ebondo Mbia Johnson Out... Given Geremi Im resigned to the fact Shay's going so as long as we get Johnson that will smooth it over i guess. Iv more than enough faith in Harps steppin to the plate and Krul as backup. IMO he could be the manto soften the blow of Shay leaving.
donaldstott 0
Did Lovenkrands not spend a lot of his time at Rangers up front? Given the durge of strikers we've got I expected him to play through the middle last night and duff would drop on the right.

It was a truly, spectacularly, ridiculously, hideously, awful decision... As was the referees for Micah Richards tackle on Taylor. In American Football, it would be high fives all round for defensive work like that!!
stevietoon 0
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsD...0.html#continue Hughton confirms we're after Ebondo and hopes that "by the time the window shuts we will have a couple of players" i hope that sentence from hughton wasnt abrupty cut before the last word - the word being - Left. cos at this rate we might only have a couple left. the announcement today that theyre trying to sell geremi probably means that with him off the wage bill and with a small fee we get this guy Ebondo cos thats the way things are playing out now; one in one out unless they cost nothing a la Lovenkrands. miles apart on the fee for given, this will run until Monday afternoon, by which time it will be too late to sign anyone; kinnear will then blame man city for not settling earlier, Shay for not taking a cut in salary; then we will find that harper hasnt signed a new contract - has he actually told us himself that he has signed or are we taking kinnears word for it - kinnear reckons ashley has lost £2b; not bad going for a bloke who was valued at £1.9b before he spent £245m on us. are we the only club in the world owned by a pauper billionaire. if he was that poor he would accept a decent offer for the club; i.e what he paid for it (£136m) trouser the money and walk away. whats another £110m when youve already lost £2b "BAGGIO!?" acrossthepond 896
Shockingly awful refereeing yesterday. I know I say this nearly every game, but the ref was terrible for both sides although Robinho being such a diving cheating scum made his job a little harder. It's polite to say Duff was "unselfish" trying to pass across the face of goal there on his chance but to be honest it's just another example of the lack of confidence in our side. The goal was gaping before him and all he had to do was pick a spot. Where on earth was Lovenkrands playing yesterday? When we got him we were told he could be a winger or a striker, but he seemed to replace Barton in midfield? Thanks, Kinnear. Jonas was awful as well yesterday although that can be attributed to lack of fitness. We need a big result against the filth. Must-win game if there ever was one.
