Ketsbaia 0
http://timesonline.typepad.com/blockbuster...amned-unit.html Looking good. Hopefully it's as good as the book.
Tom 14013
I was sceptical at first but it actually looks worth the watch and I suppose it makes a chance from the hooligan films of the last few years at least.
Craig 6700
Michael Sheen is a fucking class actor and it looks like he's taken the role quite well. Looks good in prospect - you can imagine the quote about fighting Ali coming straight from Brian.
Jimbo 175
Fuck me, Sheen really has got him down to a Tee.

dave_prso9 0
Book is brilliant and can't wait for this. Love the style it's in if the trailer is anything to go by. Another book adaptation coming this year is "the Road" by Cormack McCarthy, same guy that wrote "No country for old men". Defo worth looking out for. Kevin Carr's Gloves 3965
Will the film end with his sacking at Leeds? Wont that make it a bit down hearted? I have not read the book.
Andrew 4857
saw the TV ad for this for the first time just now, really looking forward to this
ewerk 31195
Ummm, to me it looks like Sheen is playing a cross between Brian Clough and Dale Winton. Not really what I was expecting.

ewerk 31195
Legend. A few things O'Neill mentioned and that we could do with at Newcastle: i. The manager should run the club ii. The players should want to play for the manager iii. There should be a fantastic team spirit Frankly, we don't appear to have any of those nowadays. Andrew 4857
watched the documentary and having not had a great deal of exposure to clough in the past I found it interesting but god did I hate how they'd done it with the dark backlit interviews and stuff it seemed like it was a documentary made right after his death it seemed to be mourning him rather then celebrating him

Tooj 17
Great documentary. Although I can understand why, but they never really went into the latter part or decline of Clough's career.

Tom 14013
The Book has took a pasting on that Clough documentary. However I'm not fussed as I read the book and enjoyed it before any mention of a film and I wasn't particularly aware of factual accuracy or critical acclaim. I think the last two are very possible under Shearer, but I don't think the first is at all possible under Ashley
