nufc4ever 0
The SJP Box Office telephone number has now been changed with immediate effect to: 0844 372 1892. From a local 0191 number that many people can ring for free within their call package to an 0844 number that costs everyone 5p per minute. Edit - plus a 6p connection charge. This is at all times, from a standard BT line. Edited January 20, 2009 by nufc4ever

tommo 0
Hi, We have forwarded your mail on to the club. Regards Web Support From: i hate mike ashley [mailto:mikeashleyout@hotmail.com] Sent: 20 January 2009 19:59 To: customerservices Subject: The changing of the box office number. Hi, I am just emailing you in the hope you can explain to me why the phone number for the Newcastle United Box Office has changed from 01912611571 to 08443721892. The only motive I can see for this change is the fact that the new number costs more to phone than the old number. The old number was free for a lot of people phoning but now the price for phoning for some equals 11p ? I would really like you to explain this to me. Regards,
WestEndRiot 0
How fuckin stupid are these people man? Changing the phone number on what will probably be the busiest day of the year!
nufc4ever 0
...but now the price for phoning for some equals 11p ? That would only be if your call lasted less than a minute... Good luck with that.

Matt 0
i was in a queue for 45 minutes for the hull fa cup tickets You do the math! So now people simply won't bother calling up for tickets and the club loses out on the revenue altogether. Further evidence that they club have severely overestimated how much fans will blindly throw at the club.

Happy Face 29
i was in a queue for 45 minutes for the hull fa cup tickets You do the math! s Won't this cost the likes of me (mobile user, no landline) even more.... 0844 phone numbers Revenue-sharing numbers aren't included in free minutes 0844 is a revenue-sharing number that is not included in 'free' or discounted minutes. Calls to 0844 phone numbers cost up to 5p a minute from landlines at all times of day, and typically between 15p (if you're a 3 mobile customer) and 40p per minute from mobiles. Depending on your network, call charges may be higher on pay as you go than on a contract. http://www.which.co.uk/advice/premium-rate...ained/index.jsp FAT FUCK!
