Barney 0
The love is still there, somewhere.Hope, enthusiasm, affection, pride, optimism and any form of enjoyment have all long since fucked of That's a big one for me. If none of the lads in the boardroom or on the pitch have it, it moves into the stands. Fat Fred was a prick, but he alwaays loved the club deep down, and wanted the best for it(despite his flaws). bobbyshinton 59
It's a few things for me I love football I like the social side of going to the match in most cases going with people I grew up with. I love the atmosphere at the match. I'm a geordie and proud of it All my family have supported NUFC so it's in the blood. I would never give up on them but I do get despondent (or more resigned) On Saturday I was pig fucking sick but I'm still going to West Brom. Must be fucking mad. to the older ones (not being soopa fan) we have seen all this before and worse.
Asprilla 96
You have to ask yourself though, much like the broom that's had four new handles and 3 new brushes, what IS Newcastle United? The only constant is the supporters and in our case the stadium although for many clubs even that can be moved. Everything else about the club at this point is a mess, so what ARE we supporting?
