Neville Neville Neville 0
"I want to be judged on what I bring in" Its a cunning plan. If he brings no one in, then no one can judge him. Foolproof tbh

I've had to paint the gravity of the situation, yes. I tell them at every match. "I want to be judged on the players I bring in. At the moment, in terms of depth, the club's not right. Park Life 71
This is a sly attack on MA and his team if you read between the lines, this is as close he dare get without confronting MA. The upside here is that it is clear he's been badgering the management team for players and money and that he realises we are in danger. There is still time, but he needs to get 2/3 FIRST TEAM PLAYERS in this window. If this doesn't happen well they will only have themselves to blame. Neville Neville Neville 0
Thats the problem if there's not the infrastructure to keep a man who had not had a job offer for years, then who is going to come. Either Chrissy (Hughton) will step up again, Dennis Wise/Poyet may decide to give it a go, but I literally can't think of anyone else who'd go for the job.....maybe Souness??? Park Life 71
I honestly think they didn't give it a proper look when hiring JK. Either that or MA was embarrassed at the package and ambition he could promise to a top line coach.

Fop 1
Can't see why Kinnear's getting any stick for this. Seems like a backhanded dig at the owner. Why's he only mentioned that it wasn't addressed by the last 2 managers? He's totally highlighting that the owners are shit. And he's only repeating what we've all been saying. By the way, with regard to squad depth, has anyone ever seen the back of a program where our squad had less people in it than the opposition? The problem isn't numbers, it's quality. 50% of our squad are under 20 and have hardly played a top flight game. The players already look like they couldn't give a fuck out on the pitch, and I doubt Kinnear saying "they're not my players" will suddenly get them playing for him. The fucking daft scruffy old twat. Makes you wonder how bad things actually are behind the scenes. Maybe we'll see a manager bat a player on the pitch soon.
