What version (and service pack of that version) of Windows do you have? XP 2 maybe 3 Shouldn't need any drivers then, although that still might be worth a try. If you right click on my computer and click on manage do any of the drives show up under removable storage or disk management? It might show up as unmarked if windows has got confused and you'll have to give it a drive letter manually (G or later if you've got a lot of drives). Rob W 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 depending on your machine it may not be able to power all the USB drives - have you a lot of USB connections in use? one place I work it will normally only take one extra USB stick as they have a load of external stuff running off USB connectors On some machines it seems it will only recognise drives that are attached before boot up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
