Why losing the next two isnt the end of the world

Pompey won it last year, and we earned credible draws against Chelsea and Man U already should we draw them in the cup. Its not like we are playing in Europe or going to Japan for tournaments. Im sure we can manage an extra game every 4-6 weeks in the cup.

I dont want to burst your bubble but you need wins not draws to progress :icon_lol:

That extra game has already become two extra in the fact we have a replay this week, a replay that now means instead of having 7 days rest before playing one of our relegation rivals we only have 3. The next round then comes the week after the Blackburn game with the Man City game 4 days later. If we happen to draw the 4th round then the replay will be sandwiched between the makems and West Brom games with the 5th round the weekend after WBA (what would have been another welcome weekend off) so its way worse than one every 4-6 weeks.

If we're playing these games and then taking on other relegation strugglers who have had the time off then we're at a disadvantage.

You can try and explain it all you want but youre not going to convince me to see us going out of the FA Cup as some sort of blessing in disguise. you should be JFKs spin doctor

And no matter how hard I try I cant see the fun in getting knocked out in the Quarter finals while bottom of the League.

Only the third time in 20 years a club from outside the top four has won it. It's a fallacy that the cup is an easy route these days.

Am I correct in saying that we could actually get to the quarters and not be bottom of the league?

I don't see why home games against Hull and Crewe are so scary like. Especially when they're weekend games rather than additional weekday fixtures. Can't the players manage a game a week now?

A draw won't win a cup.

We have no chance of winning it, Portsmouth was something that hasn't happened and won't be repeated for a long while.

Be great mind, finally winning something in the season we get relegated. Very :icon_lol:
