My name is Josh Brown and I am a student at Northumbria University, studying a BSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Science. As part of my studies I am conducting research into football fans views on home advantage. I am recruiting participants for my study from various fan websites – the internet is an ever expanding research area for psychologists. And that’s where you come in. I would really appreciate it if you could take the time to complete my questionnaire. If you would like to take part please follow the link below.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on josh.brown@unn.ac.uk

Thank you

Josh Brown

Have you seen our away record?

There's no 'perception' involved, it's a fact.

Have you seen our home record? ;)

One of the questions is confusing me, can anyone explain?

"I enjoy watching a well executed performance by my team"

sorry the concept is lost on me there, whats one of those?

I know its probably all that psychology nonesence for the amount of questions in the last bit, but surely that could have been done in 4 questions.

Good subject to look into though, would be interesting to get in touch with a football squad - if you do and you can get some findings up on here it would be good to here. I imagine some days players would rather play away esp in bad form and don't want a volitile crowd for 90minutes etc

B)

You know what I mean. If our away record matched our home record we'd be seventh. We've won four times as many at home and scored more than twice as many points.

Home advantage only benefits those with a good supporters like. That's why Liverpool and Chelsea have better away records than home.
