Scottish Mag 3
Ipswich are eyeing a £1.5m move for Newcastle striker Andy Carroll. The England Under-19 international was frustrated at being overlooked in the Magpies' 5-1 home drubbing by Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday. Manager Joe Kinnear kept Carroll, 19, on the bench despite the absence of Mark Viduka and Obafemi Martins through injury. Carroll, who had a loan spell with Preston last term, has two years left on his contract but has made only one senior start for Newcastle in three seasons. Chriscos 0
he hasnt got enough hunger, he will turn out to be another kid that thinks hes made it. id loan him out for a season and let him do the business in the lower leagues, then if he cuts it in the championship give him a chance, if he dosent let him move on...thinking back he didnt make any major shockwaves when he was at preston a few years ago.... i like the look of ranger, looks a lot better prospect.. Norbert Colon 0
Allegedly turned up at a local hotel with a mate and two slappers at 6am one thursday a few weeks back (he was on the bench on the saturday) completely off his face and got kicked out half an hour later for smoking in the room - doesn't bode well
Tom 14021
Can they take shola instead?or take shola as well. When given a chance this season Shola has done ok = 3 goals and 3 assists I think and unless we do some serious transfer business Shola will be an important part of the team.
