We pack most stadiums and chant our lungs out. Tottenhams turn out at us was one of the biggest this season (if not the biggest) but they werent exactly 'loud'. Havent really heard much from Man U since they havent been here yet. IIRC they beat us 5-1 last year and was having too much fun watching the goals fly past us to notice their fans. Man Utd's support when I was a kid away was largely wank, they are a myth, their support of recent years has picked up they have a fat cunt called Pete Boyle writing some decent songs for them which is why they have such an array. Chelsea's away support pre-Sky was absolutely brilliant, they had 6,000 here more than once, and I'd say us or them was the best away support when it was proper. It's not difficult supporting a team as good as them though, they can be loud, nothing when they're losing which takes points away, as does the fact Mancs are absolute cuntish people. Fuck knows where their arrogance in that city comes from. Shithole, fat cunts, heart attack capital of Europe. 90% of away supports are shit, we perhaps have too many toon ultra types now, but the best for me are Brighton & Hove Albion, two rounds of the JPT Trophy running they have taken in excess of 1,000 over 150 miles, while the game is live on SKY. Can't think of any club who would do that, Other teams who get mentioned for good away support, Villa - absolute wank, Leeds - absolute wank and arseholes, Tottenham - every away on general sale including London games. The only game I can ever remember being vaguely impressed with them was 1991 at Villa Park against Forest, when they sang Billy Bonds CNBA for 20 minutes. All Man utd fans i know have never been to an away game, perhaps been to one or two home games yet they feel they have the right to look down on every other football fan just because they are a very successful club. When i have travelled for hours to watch newcastle put in a dismal performance people sending joke to me can normally be taken in a light hearted manner but when it comes from a Man Utd fan it really makes me angry. They seem to have such venom in what they say, they seem to believe they are the only club in the world and people who support different teams are genuinely lower class people!
