Tooj 17
I don't think I've ever seen a player in such a big game have so much of the ball and do so little with it as Pennant v. Milan in the European Cup Final a couple of seasons ago. Cristiano Ronaldo springs to mind a few times.
Wally 0
At least Ronaldo scored a goal and nailed his penalty kick.

ohhh_yeah 2993
 It's weird, I checked that it wasn't April 1st when I first saw this story. This is even more unbelievable news.  Somebody out there is planning to make a film about the life and times of one Jermaine Lloyd Pennant.  Indeed, the 33-year-old ex-Liverpool winger has given his blessing to ‘From The Streets’, a biopic that is set to chart his rise from The Meadows estate in Nottingham to the Singapore Premier League.  The documentary will be produced by Sheridan Demyers of Running Films, who said:  "We were working on a football project about a kid from the inner city that signs for a big club etc but when we heard Pennant’s story and read excerpts from his book we were all blown away."  "His story is incredible, unbelievable in fact. The movie is currently in pre-production and we will starting filming in the summer."  According to Demyers, ‘From The Streets’ will not only focus on Pennant’s career but on his personal life too, including his multiple run-ins with the law over the years.  We can only hope the bit where he forgot about his £98,000 Porsche and accidentally left it in a train station car-park in Zaragoza for five months makes it in there. Kid Dynamite 7357
There was a documentary on years ago about him and his agent. They came across as a right pair of cunts
Alex 36009
There was a documentary on years ago about him and his agent. They came across as a right pair of cunts Aye, seems to encapsulate so much that is wrong with the modern game at the top level. As for being "blown away" by his story, it's not exactly one where he's triumphed over adversity to have a great career. He wasted his talent. Howay 12496
Didn't he leave his Porsche behind at a Spanish train station after his spell with Zaragota? I must admit I don't know his story but I can't see it being all too different from a lot of players from rough areas surely? Like Alex said the bloke pissed away his talent, wore a electronic tag during games for Pompey etc. There's not going to be an amazing ending to that movie is there, unless it's him signing for Liverpool and they ignore everything that has happened after.
