I think iTunes has just lost me all my songs from my iPod, I don't usually use iTunes at all, but I've just connected my iPod to my PC to charge it up and it seems iTunes has decided to "update" my songs.

Now I've only got about 3 tracks left on my iPod, I've not disconnected my iPod or shutdown iTunes is there a way I can "un-update" it so I get my songs back ??????

HELP !!!!!!

Muppet. :yes

At least you're not in the position I am. My iPod decided to die a grand death so I bought a new mp3 player. The problem is, all my CDs are in Australia so I'm downloading everything I have ever bought or downloaded to fill up the new one.

A week later and I'm half way there. Not too bad an effort.

I'm trying to console myself that I had too much shite on it, so I'm looking at this catastrophy as a spring cleaning session.

Where's my copy of Angel Dust gone..........

Oh dear! That's iTunes lame piracy "feature" in full effect. Bit daft if you ask me cos if you go out a buy a CD then you can copy it onto as many machines as you like but you can only sync your iPod to the PC you uploaded all your tunes to... although I suppose it does stop people pirating 1000's of tunes in one foul swoop though.
