I would have a look at what you said about him when he joined but I can't remember if you were on the board at the time as you had hoyed your toys out of the pram like Keegan after I put up that old post of yours where you said Souness was a top boss and better than Keegan.

Anyway, fact is, we are all wrong sometimes, so having harped on for ages about your poxy DOF system, Spurs, and Ashley, [and now Allardyce] admit that you got it all wrong ?

 

As for Allardyce, I admit I got it wrong because it didn't work out, however what he did at Bolton made him worth a punt and who knows he may yet prove us all wrong at another club. Maybe not. Who knows. Lots of people, supporters, journos, and people in the game also thought he was ready for the big job so no disgrace there.
