Greg 6
Same as usual, list your three top players from todays game. I've just got back, not as drunk as normal! For me, EMRE - this lads world class SHEARER - goal should have counted and won a lot in the air, one of his better games of late. Could have snatched an equaliser late on! PARKER - not as good as he can be and has been but solid enough, why oh why play Parker and Faye is beyond me!
Caz 0
I just got back about an hour ago. Emre Shearer

Thompson 0
Emre is the only player really worthy of a mention. Why he didnt come on for Bowyer i'll never know.
Optimistic Nut 145
Given 6 - Not a lot to do Carr 6 - Solid enough Elliott 5 - One trick pony...50 yatd diagonal balls Boumsong 7 - One cagey moment, otherwise solid Taylor 6 - Yet another stupid booking Bowyer 5 - Had best chance before injury (Ameobi 4 - Poor) N'Zogbia 6 - Had his moments Faye 6 - Played okay until tactical switch (Emre 7 - Class act) Parker 6 - Sloppy pass lead to their goal Owen 5 - Worst performance since his arrival Shearer 7 - Great header for the "goal", won everything his way So... Emre Shearer Boumsong
Thompson 0
I dunno how Boum can get a 7 matey, i thought he was bleeding woeful. He's always on the wrong side of his man, then when he gets the ball, the attacker always seems to win it back off him straight away.
Optimistic Nut 145
Only time Roberts got away from him was the header just over halfway which he couldn't exactly have done much about because it was coming towards him at some speed. Other than that, he didn't give them a sniff.

Jackies the Lad 0
Not a single player is truly worthy of a positive comment, SOUNESS has managed to beat the will to live out of most of them, let alone the desire to play for the TOON. Forced into the decision and it would have to be Emre, even though he only figured in the 2nd half Bowyer, cos he's still determined and tenacious as ever, even though he only figured in the first half. Papa Lazaru 0
1. Emre - easy decision we are a different team the second he sets foot on the pitch 2. Shearer - played well, battled for everything and scored a goal 3. Nobody really stands out for 3rd
ChocChip 0
Emre - did more in 45 than the rest of them Shearer - it was played to his bonce much more than to his feet and won most of it Bowyer - did more than anyone else in 30 odd minutes than anyone else to deserve 3rd. Thompson 0
Only time Roberts got away from him was the header just over halfway which he couldn't exactly have done much about because it was coming towards him at some speed. Other than that, he didn't give them a sniff. 46288[/snapback] I dont agree like, he was also getting sucked into their men too often (not in that way, you dirty bastids!), therefore leaving Taylor on his own to deal with 2 attackers. sammynb 3355
Bowyer - he was in match winning form against Wigan Emre Shearer It doesn't look good when the two best players for the day weren't on the pitch for the whole game and the 3rd is an old man.
