Honestly have no idea what my role is any more. I don't actually really do any work anymore just make sure others are doing theirs and are getting on ok. I do sometimes have dealings with you lovely people at the HMRC (Inland Revenue) in Benton though

Oh aye? which department?

Electrical Engineer for a well known Waffle, Fish Finger and Frozen Pea manufacturer, specialising in industrial robotics.

So you work for birds eye in lowestoft then, sorry if i have blown your cover! I worked for birds eye a couple suumers ago, i was a pea harvest co-ordinator. I can honestly say it was the easiest yet most boring job i have ever known! I have a friend working there at the moment in the R&D building.

You've not blown my cover, my description was hardly cryptic !

I used to do the engineering cover for the Pea season when I was an apprentice, like you say, easy money, most night shifts were spent asleep, who's your mate in R & D ?

I'm recruitment consultant in M&E and Civils sectors. I cover the North East which is fucking dead, there's one company in South Tyneside I deal with, one of the directors is the biggest mackem prick I've ever spoken to in my life and Scotland which is the most vibrant place in the country at the moment. Fucking government giving the jocks loads of money to build things.

I suppose you take one look at the applicants postcode and if it isn't to your approval their application goes no further.

haha geordies are hard people to move, so set in their ways. Jocks though always up for it and a few more grand. It's good crack though, I spend a large portion of me day talking about football.

Of course you do you fucking bludger. And here's you slagging off the Pakistani-born English. :o

You'll have to explain this one to me pal.

JawD how many people have you got working for you?

Fifteen

You need any engineers, PMs?

We're not in contracting. Distribution/Design etc. But, quite a few engineers in the area getting laid off of late like, always dodgy this time of year anyway. Know a few companies gone under as well. Mostly north west like not around here.

I work in aviation.... running the electronics buying side of things.

Its nearly as dull as it sounds.

What you buy and who from?

electronic bits and bobs from distributors/ manufacturers. some very high spec products that often have to have a working life of 10+ years at 100% accuracy.

His name is Ben, not sure exactly what he does but i think it has something to do with entering data into SAP when they come up with new products.

Pea season is a weird experience. The guy running it just lives for peas, its hard to believe anybody has such a passion for such a trivial thing.

I work on the frontline of getting more money for more children, therefore wish Happy Face did his job a bit better!!

He's far to busy ripping film reviews form movie sites and pasting them elsewhere to be arsed about kids not getting what they're entitled too, selfish cunt what he is.
