Fop 1
My son has been searching online for a cheaper quote, It came up with Sheilas' Wheels I thought that was girls only! Are any of you guys with them? I think it's actually illegal (and a bit stupid business-wise, too I guess) to only offer 1 sex insurance now, of course sex base premiums still seem to be ok. I guess they might be cheaper if they tend to attract (or only offer to) lower risk drivers. Although I'd have thought they'd be owned by some insurance conglomerate anyway. Craig 6702
If it had been the other way around and an insurance company for blokes only there'd be absolutely hell on... There'd be Bridget's everywhere man!

Meenzer 15872
Going off on a tangent here, and I realise this is going to sound like a completely retarded question, but having never owned a car or lived anywhere that didn't have good public transport, roughly how much does it actually cost to run an average car per month (say)? Nothing flashy, just a small urban runaround like a Focus or a Clio or whatever. I'm thinking tax/insurance/MOT but not petrol and maintenance. I think I'm starting to feel like a failure, Thatcher-style, for having a driving licence but only using buses and trains.

MOT is obv tied in to servicing so finger in air fella
