peasepud 59
A mate of mines the lead singer in TheNorth and they're playing a few gigs this month in Newcastle. If anyones bored and fancies taking in a new band then I recommend giving them a go. Their website though doesnt appear to be up so heres the dates: Head of Steam - Next Tuesday (18th) Tanners - Thursday (20th) Red Rooms - Sunday (30th). Im going to host something and hopefully Alreet! Radio will be playing a few of their tracks in the coming days. I'll be there if anyone goes let me know and I might even buy you a pint.. *actual odds of getting a pint 20,000/

Hi BTW, I'm not slagging the band, just the singer's guitar...... Edited October 15, 2005 by Asprilla's foreskin

Hi BTW, I'm not slagging the band, just the singer's guitar...... 46282 Could be something to do with the fact that Tony Stillyano, (the singer/lead guitarist) used to play lead guitar in a very successful Queen tribute band I've been to see this band a few times and i have to say, they're really promising. You can listen to a few sample tracks on the website. I've bought their first album ( they had 200 limited edition copies for sale at their last gig ) Hope they make it!! peasepud 59
What kind of music do they play Pease? 46338 The lead singer and songwriter is a big Oasis, U2 fan so its that style of thing but not a rip off of either. They do all their own stuff, quite fast, loads of guitar work with the odd slower number in there as well. Im waiting to hear back from him and grab a copy of some stuff on CD, when I do Im going to host it for download and broadcast on Alreet! radio so people can have a neb.
