Jackies the Lad 0
I know there are not many bucking the trend and we are certainly one of the worst for falling gates. How worse could it be if they did not count all ST sales as an attendee whether or not they go through the turnstile? How better would it be if Ashley and his cronies hadn't messed up? Only the Smoggs, Bolton and Man City showing an increase in attendances.
Tom 14021
For what has gone on we are still doing quite well in the field of attendances. We are third in the table of average attendances, that's pretty good.
Kid Dynamite 7312
Weve lost a good 6000 regular fans compared to last season. I reckon around 5000 of those are directly as a result of the whole Ashley saga
Tom 14021
You can't blame some people for not running open handed into an emotional minefield.
Happy Face 29
Even with the Smogs increase we still beat them. In pure numbers as well as percentage of the stadium filled. The Mackems too. http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/PR/attend.html Of course Spurs shame us all with their rinky dinky little tin pot stadium. Tom 14021
Since when did % really matter though? You don't say, 'Oh it was fucking packed tonight, 99.9% filled''
Douggy B 0
Since when did % really matter though? You don't say, 'Oh it was fucking packed tonight, 99.9% filled'' Tom, you are right to an extent. % doesnt matter until it reaches 100% Once you sell out, you cant shift more tickets if you want to. If we were getting 30K every week and you were getting 40K then fair fucks you are better supported, IF however we are selling out every week and you are getting 40K then % does play a part and the shame is squarely at your door. This is the case here. I dont know where the 6K missing fans have gone. They werent even there on the opening day of the season. One thing is for sure that the only way is down in the current economic climate.l

If spurs get more fans than NUFC (purely numbers), hey hats off, if not............let that poor dead horse alone danny
Happy Face 29
Since when did % really matter though? You don't say, 'Oh it was fucking packed tonight, 99.9% filled'' I'd say it does. A gig in the union 99% full is invariably better than one in the Arena 40% full.
charvski 0
I think the fact attendances going down in the premiership have a lot to do with the economic crisis to be honest like. Also with us its a mixture of that and fat mike.
