Shearer as the main man?

The only problemToonraider, is that sometime in the not too distant future, we may not have a club to speak of, certainly not one that Shearer would want to take on.

I share your feelings of him coming and making a balls of it- would be a disaster,as i really do admire the bloke.

 

Well I'm kinda resigned to it happening, apart from KK coming back there is no one else I can think of I'd want here more than BigAl. I'm just scared

Well the main positive is that if he comes it'll only be if we get bought by someone with a lot of £££'s to throw around (IMO).

 

So hopefully it would go..... at least better than anything since Bobby Robson.

I always thought we could do better, and would sort of be able to take our pick of managers out there who weren't already at a bigger club. However, if it's now a pick between Shearer and Kinnear, I'll take Shearer. We can't do much worse, and I'm not sure if anyone else will come near us as we're a total mess at the minute.
